    Cleveland Browns trade Baker Mayfield to Carolina Panthers

    Cleveland apparently has agreed to pay $10.5 million of Mayfield's salary while The Panthers will pay $4.85 million. Mayfield agreed to convert the remainder of his $18.8 million salary into incentives to facilitate the deal, which is pending a physical. Mayfield can earn back that money based on team performance.
    Carolina Panthers get:
    • QB Baker Mayfield
    Cleveland Browns get:
    • Conditional 2024 fifth-round pick (can become a fourth-rounder)

    I'm excited to see what Mayfield does getting out from under the Browns. Feels like that whole situation was a curse looming over him. I imagine this has to benefit Robby and Moore

    I had Robby for a bit at the start of last year as well as the year before. Last season was a disappointment, however I always felt that dude had/has loads of talent relative to his ADP. I feel like Robby could be a steal of this draft given how far he is going to fall. The media fuel'd "beef" between him and Baker is only going to help his ADP drop further.
