It's always disheartening to see people who help create the culture end up falling from it. Kanye's impact on hip-hop will remain, although his legacy is now tainted. There's no diminishing the stuff he said, however it's pretty clear the guy is dealing with a mental illness. Perhaps a causality of fame.
